I used the Bootcamp 2.1 update in Windows Vista (make sure you uninstall any weird video adapters not in use in Device Manager) – installed Bootcamp 2.1 with no problems, make sure you installed the AppleKeyboardSetup file (something like that) after you restart your computer it should show a keyboard icon near the sys tray and that’s the Apple keyboard working flawlessly. All my functions are working as needed! I have the UK version and it works great – all buttons are mapped correctly.

Tim: I don’t think it matters, but I’m 99% positive I did it while the keyboard was plugged in.

I’ve managed to get hold of the drivers that you need, and I’m ready to install. But I’m just wondering, should the installer be run while the keyboard is plugged in or before it is plugged in?

Actually ignore my previous comment. The trouble is my Leopard disk didn’t have the x64 drivers with it. I’ve found some online and will use those as instructed.

Unfortunately it’s not so simple on Vista x64.

thanks a lot man. this was awesome help. Now the keyboard works like a charm with bootcamp. I just had a mac guy send me the install files. this is awesome.
