Ive successfully installed ideneb 1.6 on my samsung nc10 which is pretty much the same as the n120-130. The trick for me one you have installed the system to get past the "waiting for uuid.." error was to disable legacy usb support and hyperthreading in the bios (f2 on startup).
If you need to use the disk again to install more kexts or updates then just enable usb support again in the bios or your external dvd drive wont be recognized, then just disable it again to boot back into os x. It took me ages to work out this afetr trying many combinations of drivers and kernels.. turns out ideneb works great using drivers from this samsung guide in various combinations of kernels and boot loaders once usb legacy is disabled. Usb devices work fine in os x with legacy in bios disabled including DVD drives which is interesting.
I used the GMA950 desktop or netbook driver for video, still only getting 800x600, but with kext helper I should be able to get it working, bluetooth and ethernet seem to work with drivers that come with ideneb 1.6 and cameleon 2 is awesome. cheers all and good luck!

Hi all,
I have SL installed on my N130. Everything is working fine except that the brightness level is reset to the max at every boot.

Any idea to fix this issue ?

Just out of curiosity: if the ethernet drive for samsung NC10 (which is the one mentioned in the link by azsooner) wouldn't the internet drive for samsung NC10 be compatable as well? I don't have the greatest knowledge with drivers, but the ethernet driver worked for me, which is why I ask this.

Netbook Installer and the tutorial I used was on gizmondo called “How To: Hackintosh a Dell Mini 10v Into the Ultimate Snow Leopard Netbook”. The article has everything you need to know and links to what you need. There was only one problem. When I updated to 10.6.2 audio stopped working. To fix that I went back to the original article and looked up the audio driver used and installed that. That audio driver was called AzaliaAudio.kext. I just put that into the /EXTRA/GeneralExtensions folder (alt-shift-G then type “/EXTRA” to see the folder) then I ran the UpdateExtra app.

Hi Guys,

I know this may seem redundant but I just bought a Samsung N120 and was wondering if there's a guide to explain how to install Snow Leopard onto it.

I'm in the process of acquiring a Broadcom BCM4321 card for the Wifi to work.

Thanks in advance. :-)

I found this blog a few months back that may offer some insight into tweaking the little things that drive us crazy. Check it out, if anything it is an entertaining read.

One on these days I'll get it right on the first go around.
